What voids this warranty, and how to keep it: the free checklist

The most machine of any plunge we rate, on the shortest coverage of any plunge we rate.

The verdict

The most complete plunge we rate: a chiller that reaches 37°F, onboard ozone with double filtration, and app control, with a heater available as an add-on. It misses Editor's Pick on one line. A flagship-priced plunge carries a one-year warranty. Buy it for the machine, and know the coverage going in. Coverage also depends on a filter change at least every 30 days and genuine Plunge parts, so budget for both.

What you are buying

A self-contained cold plunge that holds its own temperature and manages its own water. No ice, no daily intervention. Ozone plus double filtration is the most serious water care in this group, and it is the difference between draining monthly and draining far less often.

Where it wins

The one-job line scores top marks, and it is earned. The chiller reaching 37°F means the temperature you set is the temperature you get, every session. That repeatability is what turns cold immersion from an event into a practice.

Where it misses

Coverage. One year, at flagship pricing, on a product with a pump, a chiller, and hundreds of pounds of water. An independent review also scored customer experience 3 of 5, which is the softest support signal in the cold lane.

Serviceability. The warranty voids if the filter is not changed at least every 30 days, if non-genuine parts are used, or if the unit is not drained after a power cut longer than an hour. Repair data from The Cold Standard, a cold plunge service company, puts the pump, filters and plumbing behind nearly half of the 722 faults it logged (service calls only, so it counts what broke, not what did not). That is the part of this machine where you are most locked in, and it is why Build sits at Strong rather than Exceptional (changed 2026-10-07).

Safety listing: none published. Plunge publishes no ETL, UL or CSA listing for the chiller on its product, specification, manual or warranty pages (checked October 22, 2026). As of October 2026 none of the cold plunge brands we rate publishes one, so it does not change the score. We will re-check in early 2027.

Check the circuit before the electrician comes. plunge.com lists a 15 A dedicated circuit for the All-In, while four Plunge help-center articles and its safety precautions say a 20 A dedicated circuit. We would wire for 20 A and ask Plunge to confirm in writing.

Keeping the warranty: the owner's routine

The All-In carries one year of coverage, and Plunge's terms spell out what voids it. Read from Plunge's published warranty, October 2026.

  • Filters at least every 30 days. The terms make this a condition of coverage, not a suggestion. Buy filters from Plunge or keep the receipts, and log each change with a dated photo.
  • Water chemistry kept up, using the sanitizer the manual names.
  • Genuine parts only. Non-genuine parts void the warranty.
  • A GFCI outlet, no extension cords, per the manual.

Why it matters: a cold plunge repair company that logged 722 faults found the circulation pump was the most common failure (17.7% of faults), and that 86% of filter cartridge faults were preventable. Most problems start in the water path, which is exactly what the routine above protects. Compare every brand's terms on the Warranty Tracker.

Company basis

One-year warranty, including pumps, filters and plumbing. What voids it: a filter not changed at least every 30 days, water chemistry outside Plunge's protocols, non-genuine Plunge parts, a power loss of more than an hour without draining the unit, and skipping winterization below freezing. Read from Plunge's residential warranty page 2026-10-07. The heater is an add-on, not included.

Who it is for

Someone who wants the practice to be frictionless and is buying the machine with eyes open on the coverage. If warranty length is what you optimise for, the Renu Cold Stoic 2.0 scores better on that line. If you are still working out where it goes, start with how to plan a setup.
