What voids this warranty, and how to keep it: the free checklist

The lie-down plunge.

The verdict

A wide, low tub, about 70 by 51 inches and under 30 inches tall, that you can lie back in and step into easily, reaching 37°F and heating to 104°F. The right shape for anyone who finds climbing into an upright tub awkward. Same five-year tub, one-year chiller coverage.

What you are buying

A plastic tub about 70 by 50.75 inches and 29.75 inches tall, roughly 297 pounds empty, with a 0.5 HP chiller, dual-stage filtration with ozone and a composite deck. $11,999, price checked October 27, 2026. Renu lists shipping at 6 to 8 weeks.

Where it wins

Shape. Nothing else we rate lets you lie back fully, and the low sides make getting in and out easier than climbing into a 35 to 39 inch upright tub. Company trust, at four marks, matches the rest of the plastic range.

Where it misses

Value, at three marks. It costs $4,499 more than the Vero for a smaller chiller, and it takes the most floor of any Renu plastic tub. You are paying for the shape. It is worth it if the shape is what gets you in.

Safety listing: none published. Renu Therapy publishes no ETL, UL or CSA listing for the chiller on its product, specification, manual or warranty pages (checked October 22, 2026). As of October 2026 none of the cold plunge brands we rate publishes one, so it does not change the score. We will re-check in early 2027.

The catch

The five years cover the tub. The chiller, the part most likely to need work, is covered for one year from delivery. An optional extension adds four more years, but it has to be bought within 364 days of shipment. Renu pays labor up to $50 an hour for two hours; you pay shipping. Coverage is for the original purchaser only, for residential use only, and commercial use voids it. Water leaks, poor water chemistry, neglected filters, freezing, power outages and low water flow are excluded.

Company basis

Five-year limited warranty on the tub. Chiller covered one year from delivery, with an optional extension to five years total. Residential use only, original purchaser only. Labor capped at $50 an hour for two hours; customer pays shipping. Read from Renu's published home-use warranty page. Checked 2026-09-30.

What voids it. Poor water chemistry, neglected filter care, improper cleaning agents, misuse or neglect, power outages and low water flow. A filter housing O-ring lost during a filter change is not covered, and commercial use voids the warranty. Repairs by anyone Renu has not approved also void coverage, and claims go to help@renutherapy.com. Read from Renu's home-use warranty page 2026-10-27.

Who it is for

Anyone who wants to lie back, and anyone for whom stepping over a tall side is the obstacle. Check the floor first; it needs the most room of the three, so see how to plan a setup.
