What voids this warranty, and how to keep it: the free checklist

We publish the products that fail the bar too, with the reason, so you can see the rule working. This one is from a brand whose programme we are in, and whose other tubs meet the Standard.

Why it does not meet the Standard

The largest tank in the range, up to 150 gallons, and the most expensive at $15,499, cold only (price checked October 27, 2026). It carries one year of coverage on the tub and the chiller, the shortest term Renu offers, on its highest-priced model. You pay more than for any other Renu and get less coverage and no heat.

The lines that failed

Value, at Adequate. $15,499 for a cold-only tank, $2,700 more than the Cold Stoic 3.0, which also heats and carries five years on the tub.

Company trust, at Solid. It passes, level with the Plunge All-In, but one year on the tub is a step down from the five Renu gives its plastic range.

Our rule is no dimension below Solid for Meets the Standard. Value sits below it.

What you are buying

A wood-bodied tank about 80 by 33.6 inches and 37 inches tall, with a 0.8 HP chiller, an XL filter and ozone. It runs from 37°F to 90°F, so cold only. Build, Evidence and One job all sit at Strong; the tank is not the problem.

What we would buy instead

For most buyers the Cold Stoic 3.0 does the same job for $2,700 less with five years on the tub. If space is the question, the Vero.

Safety listing: none published. Renu Therapy publishes no ETL, UL or CSA listing for the chiller on its product, specification, manual or warranty pages (checked October 22, 2026). As of October 2026 none of the cold plunge brands we rate publishes one, so it does not change the score. We will re-check in early 2027.

Company basis

One-year warranty on the tub and the chiller, residential use, per the product page and Renu's home-use warranty page. Same labor cap ($50 an hour for two hours), customer-paid shipping and original-purchaser terms as the rest of the range. Renu's separate commercial warranty is also one year on the tub and the chiller. Checked 2026-09-30. The link to buy it sits at the end of the page, after the reasons, so you can decide for yourself.

What voids it. Poor water chemistry, neglected filter care, improper cleaning agents, misuse or neglect, power outages and low water flow. A filter housing O-ring lost during a filter change is not covered, and commercial use voids the warranty. Repairs by anyone Renu has not approved also void coverage, and claims go to help@renutherapy.com. Read from Renu's home-use warranty page 2026-10-27.
